Requirements for the revised proposal

  1. Work in your groups to prepare this proposal. Plan ahead to schedule meeting times.

  2. Include the following sections. Label each section as given in bold.

    1. Title and authors

    2. Introduction:  Each member of the group wrote their own introduction, and I responded with comments. For the revised proposal, prepare a single introduction. Combine the best features from each group member's introduction. Be sure that you specifically reference in the introduction the sources in your bibliography.

    3. Research question

    4. Method:  I emailed each group with comments about their methods. Incorporate any revisions that you feel are necessary based on those comments. Otherwise, use the method that you already submitted.

    5. Equipment list:  Just use the list that you already provided.

    6. Diagram:  Prepare a labeled diagram on a full page showing your proposed equipment set up.

    7. Special needs:  If you have special space or equipment needs, describe them. Tell what you've done to secure the space and equipment that you need.

    8. Data/image Analysis:  What kind of data do you expect to get with your photos?  Will you take measurements? If so, what specifically will you measure?  What will you do with the measurements?  If your project doesn’t entail taking measurements, what will you be looking for in your photos in order to know whether you’ve been successful in meeting your goal, that is, answer your research question?

    9. Bibliography. Include all references that are referred to in the body of your proposal. Provide complete bibliographical information. At least five references are expected.  At least three of those must be journal articles or text references.
